FASTag Annual Pass Activation – Step-by-Step Guide

1. Eligibility Check
   • Ensure your vehicle is a private, non-commercial car/jeep/van.
   • The FASTag must be:
     • Properly affixed to the vehicle’s windshield
     • Linked to a valid Vehicle Registration Number (VRN)
     • Not blacklisted or inactive
2. Access the Activation Platform
   • Visit the Rajmargyatra mobile app or the NHAI official website.
3. Initiate the Activation Process
   • Log in using your registered mobile number or credentials.
   • Select the Annual Pass option.
   • Enter your vehicle details and FASTag ID.
4. Verification
   • The system will verify your vehicle’s eligibility using the VAHAN database.
   • If the vehicle is eligible, you’ll be prompted to proceed with payment.
5. Payment
   • Pay ₹3,000 for the Annual Pass (valid for the base year 2025–26).
   • Payment can be made through available digital payment options on the app or website.
6. Activation Confirmation
   • Once payment is successful, the Annual Pass will be activated on your FASTag.
   • Activation typically takes up to 2 hours.
   • You’ll receive a confirmation message or notification once the pass is active.
7. Usage
   • After activation, your FASTag will allow toll-free travel at designated NH and NE toll plazas for up to 200 trips or 1 year, whichever comes first.
